What started as a mom gettig a camera and bringing it to the racetrack has quickly turned into something much bigger.

Most of these photos started with two little racers who inspired me to pick up my camera again.

Checkered Life Photos was created to capture the moments that make up our lives—both on and off the track. From the intensity behind a racing visor and the excitement of a checkered flag, to family memories, nature, community events, and everything in between.

As a racing family ourselves, we know some of the best moments happen in the blink of an eye. My goal is to preserve those moments through photographs that tell a story and capture genuine emotion.
